Borderlines

Illicit Thoughts

The fine tuned balance of a mad man's mind

Keeps him a prisoner of wasted time

He looks out towards the horizon

Eyes bleeding into the sun

Memories of the good, memories of the bad

Memories when left to ponder on can drive a man mad

Stranded all alone with no place to call a home

He draws the hammer back and takes a final breath alone

Borderlines

Do you dare go across?

Borderlines

Is it really worth the cost?

Reach for my hand if you feel like you can

I stayed all my life with this knife in my back

I've walked a thousand miles falling deeper in the sand

Break free from yourself you're alive my friend

The borderlines gone blurry

The walls are closing in

The man recedes his bloodshot eyes

With nothing left to give

All this time within his life he has had no choice

All the things that he has made himself to be he self destroys within

Now this man's life was wasted

wallowed in his woes

Caught himself lost in the cruel way things go

Be different, be free,

don't fear to believe

Walk crooked, walk forward, walk over these borderlines

Be different, be free,

don't fear to believe

Follow your dreams

No struggle can amount to the journeys you face in this life

You must always be prepared to venture into the unknown

You’re not alone through this battle

Because I’m right here with you

And as long as we have each other

Nothing can stop us

Borderlines

Do you dare go across?

Borderlines

Is it really worth the cost?

Reach for my hand if you feel like you can

I stayed all my life with this knife in my back

I've walked a thousand miles falling deeper in the sand

Break free from yourself you are alive my friend

Borderlines

Are unveiling me

Borderlines

misguiding our dreams

Pull yourself back from the grave that sunk you in

Don't say that it's too late for you to make amends

Judging the distance can be so hard to fucking do

When you reach out for something that's bigger then you

Take my hand

And breathe with me again

Take my hand

And walk with me to the end

Walk with me to the end

Till the end
